On 6/12/11 at approximately 1:55pm the Ramapo Police responded to 30 New Pomona Rd. reference to a child struck by a car. Upon investigation it was learned that a 2004 Toyota mini van was backing up on the private drive of 30 New Pomona Rd. when a 3 year old girl ran behind the van. The van then struck the girl at a slow rate of speed knocking her to the ground. Hatzolah Ambulance removed the child to Nyack Hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the 2004 Toyota was one Joshua Blass a 39 year old male from Pomona N.Y. As of this time no summons were issued.
