UNITED HOSPICE OF ROCKLAND (UHR) 2011 GALA RAISED MORE THAN $150,000 FEATURED “Dancing With Our Stars” and Honored The Gromack Family and Ann Byne

NORWOOD, NJ– United Hospice of Rockland's (UHR) 2011 gala, “Dancing With Our Stars,” was held Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Colonial Inn in Norwood, New Jersey. The event raised more than $150,000 to benefit UHR and honored The Gromack Family and UHR Board Member Ann Byne of The Byne Group for their dedication and support of UHR and the community 

More than 350 attendees enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and dinner and dancing and were feted by The Big Band Swing Machine, an 18-piece orchestra. Special entertainment featured “Dancing with Our Stars.”  Professional dancers from three Rockland dance studios partnered with Rockland's stars:

* Gary Stern dancing with Karen Evora from Gagliardi Studio
* Arlene R. Rodgers dancing with professional dancer Cowado Jasmine
* Kim Kepko Seaman dancing with Victor Gagliardi from Gagliardo Studio  * Joseph Rand, Jr. dancing with Daria Cebotaru from NY Dance Sport 

* Winning Couple: Terry Siracusano dancing with professional dancer Igor Sharapanyuk of New York Dance Sport



Professional judges and attendees cast their votes to determine the winning couple, UHR volunteer Terry Siracusano of Rockleigh, New Jersey, and her partner professional dancer Igor Sharapanyuk of New York Dance Sport
