Boil Water Advisory for Nyack Area

Please be advised that the Rockland County Health Department has imposed a Boil Water Advisoryfor customers supplied by the Village of Nyack water supply, which includes Nyack, Central Nyack and parts of West Nyack including the Palisades Center Mall.

It is likely that this will require residents supplied by the system to boil water for the next 3-5 days, until the problem is fixed. Currently Nyack Water has raised its chlorine residual levels in the water and are flushing hydrants within the system. The reason for this order is due to coliform bacteria in the drinking water.

For further information on this or for boil water instructions please contact the Village of Nyack athttp://nyack-ny.gov or by phone at 358-3734 or the Rockland County Health Department at 364-2608.
