Rockland County District Attorneys Office: Attempted Grand Larceny Plea

Jesus Hernandez, age 30 of Brooklyn, New York, pled guilty on April 6, 2011 to Attempted Grand Larceny in the 3^rd Degree.

District Attorney, Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about January 13, 2011 at approximately 2:12 p.m. at TD Bank located at 61 Route 59 in the Town of Ramapo, the defendant submitted a check withdrawal slip in the amount of $4,200.00.  The check withdrawal slip was filled in with someone else’s name and account number.  The defendant also provided a false New Jersey Driver’s License to the bank teller.

On June 15, 2011, the Honorable Charles Apotheker, County Court Judge, sentenced the defendant to six (6) months in the Rockland County Jail.
