District Attorney Zugibe said, “The sentence imposed today by the court severely punishes this defendant for the routine sexual assault of a vulnerable young girl. Children should remain children. Such disturbing conduct will not go unpunished.”

Between September 1, 2006 and August 7, 2010, the defendant repeatedly sexually abused, including raping, the female child beginning at age nine until age thirteen.

The victim’s mother then contacted Ramapo Police.

The defendant made a full confession and pled guilty to the entire indictment on April 12, 2011.

The investigation was conducted by the Rockland County District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit, the Ramapo Police Department and the New York State Police.
