Brad Smith was indicted on June 22, 2011 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crime of Robbery in the 1st Degree.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about May 31, 2011, at approximately 5:30 am, the victim while waiting for the bus to go to work, the defendant walked up to him, pushed him, grabbed his cellphone off his belt and ran. The defendant saw police officer nearby and threw the phone away. An Officer observed the incident and placed the defendant under arrest.
