“Home Plate To Your Home”: Boulders, Hi-Tor Team Up For Pets

Ramapo, New York - The Rockland Boulders in conjunction with the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center announced a joint effort entitled “Home Plate To Your Home”.  The foundation of the program will feature dogs and cats available for adoption at all remaining Saturday night games during the team’s inaugural season.  The first opportunity to adopt a dog or cat at Provident Bank Park will take place this Saturday, June 25th at 7:05 PM when the Boulders host the New York Federals.  One of the highlights of the program will be the Parade of Pets that takes place on the home team dugout.

“We are thrilled to be able to raise our profile via a joint effort with the Rockland Boulders,” said Roberta Bangs Executive Director of the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center.  “We are always looking for new ways to find new homes for our dogs and cats.  We were hoping we could partner with the team when we first heard we were going to be neighbors.”
Although dogs and cats are only slated to be at Provident Bank Park on the eight remaining Saturday night games, the exposure for the High Tor Animal Care Center will remain in the ballpark for every home game.  Scoreboard exposure, public address announcements and educational literature will be a part of the in-game messaging all season long.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work in conjunction with the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center with the Home Plate To Your Home program,” said Ken Lehner President of the Rockland Boulders.  “Thousands of families will be at Provident Bank Park this summer and we all know how dogs and cats are considered part of the family.”
