The Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Rockland County invite the public to attend their last monthly tour of the demonstration gardens at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 10 Patriot Hills Dr., Stony Point, NY. Visitors can tour the nine beautiful gardens, and learn which plants grow best in Rockland County. Gardens included are: The Ralph Snodsmith Perennial Garden; Hillside and Shade Garden; Fern Garden; Herb Garden; Ornamental Grass Garden; Cutting Garden; Container Gardens; Native Plants; and the new Rain Garden. Held on Sunday, June 26 from 1pm-2pm. Visitors can also stop by on Thursdays (April to mid-November) between 10 and 11 a.m. to ask the Master Gardeners questions as they work in the gardens.
