Rockland County District Attorneys Office: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Indictments


Jermaine Johnson was indicted on June 15, 2011 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree (2 counts), Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (2 counts) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about May 25, 2011, during the execution of a search warrant at 47 Fairview Avenue, First Floor, Nanuet, New York, approximately 44 grams of crack cocaine and approximately 6 grams of powder cocaine were recovered from the bedroom of the defendant.  In addition, hundreds of plastic baggies, a digital scale, a razor blade and plate with cocaine residue were found in the residence.  The defendant’s four year old child was present in the residence and these items were within her reach.
