Rockland County District Attorneys Office: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Indictments

Amber Johnson, Bryce Hallback, and Kevin Whitening were indicted on July 20, 2011 by a Rockland County Grand Jury. Defendant Amber Johnson was indicted for the crimes of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2^nd and 3^rd Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2^nd Degree. Defendant Bryce Hallback and Kevin Whitening were both indicted for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2^nd Degree. 

District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about July 6, 2011 at approximately 9:55 pm, while traveling on the NYS Thruway in the Town of Clarkstown, the vehicle defendants were occupying was stopped for NYS Vehicle and Traffic Violations. After a search of the vehicle was conducted, approximately seven ounces of cocaine and two digital scales were found.
