Jeanette Carballo, age 48 of New York, NY 10033, pled guilty on July 13, 2011 to Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree.
District Attorney, Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about May 2, 2011 at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the Lord & Taylor store located in the Palisades Center Mall in the Town of Clarkstown, the defendant took merchandise from the store displays and concealed them in a handbag. The defendant exited the store with out paying for the items, which were valued at $1,698.00.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 28, 2011 before the Honorable Charles Apotheker, County Court Judge.
