Moise Salnave, Age 27 of Spring Valley, was sentenced July 12, 2011, before New York State Acting Supreme Court Justice William K. Nelson to a state prison term of 1 ½ to 3 years after pleading guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree. The sentence is to be served concurrently with a Violation of Probation.
District Attorney, Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about September 11, 2010 the defendant got into an argument with another individual and a third individual attempted to intervene. The defendant pulled out a knife and went towards the third individual with it. The individual picked up a bottle and threw it at the defendant. The defendant then stabbed the individual in the left chest area.
