On 07/16/11 at approximately 1645 hrs. Ramapo Police responded to Route 17 near the NY State Thruway exit in the Village of Hillburn for a report of a road rage incident involving a party threatening the use of a firearm on another. Upon arrival officers were directed by the complainant to a vehicle parked in the rear of 345 Route 17. Investigation revealed that no weapons were found, however, the two parties in the vehicle were found to be in possession of felony quantities of methamphetamines, cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms. They were also found to be in possession of misdemeanor quantities of prescription pills and violation level marijuana. Michael A. Lyle, 49, of Philadelphia, PA and Beth Ann Doring, 47, of Brigantine, NJ were both arrested and held pending arraignment at Ramapo PD.
