Rockland County District Attorneys Office: Driving While Intoxicated Plea


Vladimir Haustow, age 64 of Nanuet, New York, pled guilty on May 2, 2011 to Driving While Intoxicated as a felony.

District Attorney, Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about February 21, 2001 at approximately 6:18 p.m. on S. Main Street in the Village of Spring Valley, the defendant was found to have been operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

On July 11, 2011, the defendant was sentenced by the Honorable Charles Apotheker, County Court Judge to ninety (90) days in the Rockland County Jail, five (5) years Probation, an Ignition Interlock Device with a camera, $1,000 fine and the defendant’s license was revoked for one (1) year.
