Jesus Aguilar, Jose Aguilar and Miguel Aguilar were indicted on July 20, 2011 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree and Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about February 13 and February 18, 2011, the defendants, acting individually and in concert, knowingly stole and possessed, without permission or authority and with intent to benefit themselves, a 2009 red Subaru Forester valued in excess of $3,000.00. At the time all three defendants possessed the vehicle, Jose Aguilar operated the vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
