Adelmo Vasquez-Lorenzo was indicted on July 20, 2011 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Assault in the 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe stated that on or about July 27, 2010 at approximately 7:00 am, in the Village of Spring Valley, the defendant repeatedly stabbed the victim. One of those stab wounds went up through the bottom of the victim’s face and out the side of his mouth. The victim suffered one very deep laceration and several others including a defensive wound on his hand. The knife was recovered at the scene.
